Contact forms

Through the use of the onsite contact form, we collect your name and your email address, along with any personal information you provide in the message itself – such as a phone number. This data is used in the following ways

  • To communicate with your via email or the telephone if you provide your number
  • It may be kept to assist us with a booking you make

Booking your stay

When booking a stay, you will use our booking engine; This will collect and store information that you give when you make a booking. You are asked for your name, address, telephone number, the names of any additional guests who make up your party, email address and payment information. This may also include your IP address. This information is stored in the our booking engines system, freetobook, to enable us to process your booking.

Cookies

We set a single cookie, which is used to see if your browser will accept cookies. This cookie does not store any personal information about you and it is removed when your sessions ends.

Who we share your data with

You data is stored on our booking engine system, freetobook. Both we and freetobook act as joint data controllers for the processing and storage of personal information provided by you in relation to reservations in relation of accommodation. If payment information is provided then this is processed directly by PCI Level 1 Compliant third party gateway providers through the freetobook system.

How long we retain your data

We will retain your data for a period of time as required in accordance with our legal obligation to keep records for tax purposes under paragraph 6, Schedule 11 of the Value Added Tax Act 1994.

What rights you have over your data

Whilst the website does not store any of your data on our own computer systems, we do store data in relation to bookings on the booking system we use.

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

We do not send your data anywhere other than the booking system in which you book your stay with us.
